This image was designed to look like an old patent medicine bottle label or advertisement. It began with the blue vector drawing of the chicken. My wife often calls me a clever fool. It took the change of only one letter from "o" to "w" to arrive at clever fowl.
Wisdom formula is a good name for a patent medicine and saying it's "for poultry, small dogs & men", is a tongue-in-cheek reference to the often outrageous claims made by the makers of these products.
Farmboy Artworks is the name of my studio. All that remained to finish the design was a wise statement by the chicken who has taken some wisdom formula. While I was trying to come up with something wise, we went out to lunch at a Chinese restaurant. My fortune cookie read: "A handful of patience is worth more than a bushel of brains." There it was! Very wise and bushels connected to the farm theme.
