I hope for this piece to start a dialogue surrounding the revelation of beauty within chaos. Many of us have come to understand that a common characteristic of the human condition is our collective yearn to dominate and control every aspect of the world around us. Yet despite our efforts, our seemingly calculated lives are still inevitably, chaotic. We try so hard and so foolishly to divorce ourselves from the effects of natural spontaneity, anything that would cause us to relinquish complete control within our lives. However realistically, absolute control is unobtainable. Even within the smallest of moments it comes down to finding a balance: a flirtation between competing entities or events where we can find a split-second period in time where within the exact moment of destruction, we find creation.
