Anthurium are tropical flowers known as painted tongue,
flamingo flower (flamingo lily), or tail flower. Anthuriums are
grown for their brightly colored flower spathes, and their
ornamental leaves have inspired me to paint it because of
its uniqueness, attractiveness, and it is a long lasting flower, even on canvas.
