Imiri is a beautiful wilderness site situated near Marondera in Zimbabwe. This is where we took our students for an art camp to inspire and motivate them. It's an area that is rich in diverse landscape scenes and boasts protected wildlife (including elephant, buffalo and lion) as well as herds of cattle which are wonderful to sketch and paint too. This is a scene captured of one of the small dams in the park and is rendered in chalk pastel.
