She doesn't think she will ever be able to stop the pie. What is the pie, you ask. It represents the caterpillars in her life waiting for the butterfly to give up her wings and go back to life on the ground. So sometimes she impersonates that she is once again a caterpillar and then when she feels like a rush she opens her wings and starts to fly and that feels exactly like a pie in the face. No she knows she won't be able to stop the pie.
