I awaken, with my full senses, in a surreal, nighttime dreamscape with a tall, glowing tree silently walking toward me. It stops just a few feet from me and I realize there is a beautiful, glowing lady sitting on one of the tree’s lower branches. Her shining blond hair and pink gown flowed with a gentle wind as the tree bent over and she glided off the branch and walked up to me. I “knew” I was dreaming and wanted to test who was in front of me so I reached out and gave her a kiss on her lips. I pulled back to watch for a reaction but she never changed her loving expression.
The beautiful illuminated lady came to me again as I slept in my tent on the Sun Dance grounds. With a night sky background she hovers there in front of me on a higher level about chest high to me. Lying down sideways and propped up on one arm, she reaches out, taking my left hand and turns it over palm side up. There in the middle of my left palm is a drawing that eventually inspired my first painting.
