Using the cyclist as a central metaphor for the condition of man striving to succeed and placing the rider in energetic brush strokes in a neutral background i try to show the effort one needs.The colors reds,yellows and darks are intended to represent the emotions and tensions of the journey...happiness excitement conflict etc...the viewer must see in the painting their own journey.
