Original signed oil painting on panel, 20" horiz. x 24" tall, 2015. - The painting is highly energetic, rich, deep, mysterious and lustrous. The marks of an intuitive gestural hand are both intentional and revealing. A shamanic presence is felt. The improvisational brushwork and paint thickness/thinness is subtle and difficult to show in any photo. Colors are a subtle use of hues and values. There appear a number of layers of depth and possible meaning for the viewer to explore. Presented in "Museum Wrap" with satin black hardwood painted sides which is ready to hang. The wood panel it is painted on is thin - 1/8" thick - fine cabinet grade hardwood plywood.
