This painting depicts my impression of the feeling of the the end of a storm in nature or in personal life, a reminder that all storms have their eventual end.

In general, my work is mostly inspired by nature, but sometimes purely imaginary. I make art because it is an endless learning process. I enjoy learning and constantly evolving. I have evolved from representational to the more abstract. I have tried to learn to use color, form, line and contrast to achieve the desired effects. The primary use of palette knives has served to help me become more free and actually paint with the paint, gradually developing what I hope is a unique style.
