This work is from my series Innerplaces. This series focuses on an intentional use of color and texture to convey space and evoke a feeling of familiarity of a certain place or location. My goal is for the viewer to feel as if the painting looks like a place but that they cannot quite place where that location is specific. Each perspective is different depending on the viewership. Therefore, I title this series Innerplaces.
