I had seen this photo in a newspaper advertisement many many years back. What appealed me most was its subtle smile and the radiance of her eyes and so I settled down to sketch it.

Unfortunately, this sketch was badly damaged in an incident in which some hooligans ransacked my room. Those were days when the use of computers was not so widely prevalent and there was no conceivable manner in which I could restore it, until finally I myself learnt the use of computers and the photo shop software. So the sketch was finally repaired and restored in 2005
