The aquatic flowers and algae float in the calm ocean. At first sight, the predominant color is blue, but there is also a significant portion of calm pink used to soften the atmosphere.
The center of the painting is marked by a tall marine flower showcasing a blue stem and a purple blossom. The flower in the middle is surrounded by other smaller but similar flowers and algae. The gentle light touches the scene through the upper right corner. I have illustrated the light using a pallet of pink, white, yellow, green and blue colors.
As you reach the bottom of the painting, the image becomes darker, such as the bottom of the ocean. The bottom of the painting keeps the mystery of the places we so rarely reach. The plants here are less obvious and you don't really get a real touch of what is happening, you just know you don't want to be there long.
