I recall the milk of my childhood ,which almost came straight from the cow, rich creamy and delicious ,so fresh from the churn. But after hundreds of years the powers that be said it would harm us , so they took it away from the farmers. Instead of just simple filtration they decided we needed sterilisation ,pasteurisation, homogenisation to keep us as a healthy nation. Then they put this "milk" in bottles, cardboard and plastic containers ,with gold silver and dozens of colourful tops. There may be a good reason for all that they did , but it seems daily they add tons and tons to the worlds waste, and for me they just managed to lose that delicious, creamy , milky taste[ The wise old owl]
