Of all the ink drawings I've done I feel this is the the most personal. I have seen friends use drugs of various kinds and most ruined their lives. I wanted to show through art what happens to a person who does not stop using drugs and the course their life will take. I have used simple lines to express this powerful idea in a setting that I am sure many a drug user has faced or died at in this life. I think the piece brings out powerful feelings and thought on the idea of heavy drug use and also might get the view to think about their own life as well. Wrapping up I think this piece would make a great addition to your collection because the artwork is not only art but it has a message as well.
