This is a depiction of two monuments, both from two capitals of Europe: London and Bucharest. The picture is combining two of these monuments, each one from each city, creating thus far a new monument, combining the cultures of both parts involved. It is drawn on paper using ink, pencil, watercolors and acrylic. The tools that were used were brushes,sponges and the artists fingerprints.
The layering technique is what makes this drawing unique. It uses drafting film, a special transparent paper that is soft to touch and it adds to the blurring idea, hiding shapes and forms in order to emphasize others.
