Mapping 4/3 foot, 9015 /1220 cm is an Encaustic work with many many layers of wax, over 50 all of varying colours, the last two or three layers of wax are ochre hand made from the rocks found in the bush of the Top End crushed into a powder to be blended with the wax medium. Gouging out the lines that make the Mapping one can see the varying colours and the depth of the wax medium.
The three smaller paintings on the centre represent Gold, Copper and Silver metals that are in constant use in our world today.
