Even when going through hard times, as we all do at some point, its good to know that Yahweh is still in control! When I painted this I was reflecting on the fact that at different, and often, repetitive times through life, we struggle in some way with something or other. We journey through it, step up, and breakthrough. Then at some other point we go through another struggle. So the painting reflects this journey in that the life of a butterfly goes from humble beginnings as a caterpillar, after which the cocoon stage and finally the flying stage. So much can be read into this process as being like our lives. Each of us are different, and see and experience these stages differently. But HalleluYah, Yahweh is still there and in control!
