Wood sandwich toothpick sculpture titled; "Aged Innocence"

This toothpick sculpture is 49 inches long, 10 inches wide, and 1 inch thick and took over 285 hours to construct.

It's colored with dark stain "not paint" and the eye is an exotic South Pacific Snail Shell and the eye is a black polished ocean stone.

When hung on the wall the 2 rear fins are approximately 4-6 inches off the wall which gives this piece a nice effect.

I purposely shaped the teeth to indicate age.

These most beautiful and magnificent creatures of God's creation were nearly hunted to extinction.
