This series is inspired by the beautiful crops growing local to me in rural Wiltshire, UK. In 2022 they stretched as far as they eye could see and, quite literally, took my breath. It was utterly glorious. I felt like I'd never even seen the colour yellow before!

The individual pieces are all a few days apart and reflect the changing character of the flowers and thus named accordingly.

"Eternity" was the first of the series that I painted. I was embraced on all sides, for miles around by the collective radiance of these beautiful flowers. They seemed to stretch into forever and took my heart and my joy along with them.

They are wonderful stand alone works but look incredible as a full set of three and will lift the mood in any room with their sunny ambience!

They are all acrylic on stretched canvas.

I hope you enjoy them as much I have done creating them. They still make my heart swell when I look at them.
