In this digital oil-on-canvas version of my Historic Store House photograph, I was able to create a painterly effect of brush strokes, blending, and softness. I was still keen to maintain as much detail along the window frames, the doorway, the roof line, chimney and the small shed in the front.

This version also brings a little more color to the scene, especially visible in the foliage oranges and reds which were practically invisible in the original photographic version.
