Here we see Borinquen reaching up to the sun God as he bathes her in his life giving rays. She is the Earth herself, her hair become the very grass that covers it and the flowers that spring from it. She is flanked by the vibrant flamboyan trees. The beautiful Caribbean Sea can be seen extending to the horizon, the blue of the sky and sea almost becoming one.
