This original 24 x 36 acrylic on canvas was painted in 2015. The inspiration came from my visit to the burial site of Chief Joseph near Joseph Oregon. I worked from a photo for weeks following that hike around the area and this is definitely one of my favorite paintings since beginning my career as an artist. Actual colors are more blue and lavender in the sky and water. The large size and intricate detail on this piece made photographing it a challenge. But the original painting is crisp with detail. It is currently mounted in an antique white frame. Perfect for any doctor or dental office, restaurant or other place of business. And absolutely wonderful as a main attraction in your home!
