An interpretation of a 19th century French realist sculpture. Adams uses this to represent a commentary on the entitled generation of todays youth who have killed labor with soft hands of entitlement. The striking blood running down the handle of the shovel begs consideration...is it from the bleeding hands of effort?... or the busted mouth of starvation?...questions only the viewer can answer...
