This was my final school project with the theme of "Footprints". I interpreted this as as the carbon footprint we as humans leave behind. The skeleton ribs represents the imminent death of mankind if we continue on this path. The city in place of the lungs shows how our own efforts is suffocating all life on the planet, represented by the wilting flowers. This piece is a mixed media painting with a combination of gouache paint and colored pencils.
