When I was introduced to the Kokopelli I was told it was “A Good Luck Charm/Character” & was amazed by this cute little ancient thing and decided to make my own.

I was hoping to sell these at Southwestern Art Fairs and places where drinking, food, water sports and fun were.

Then I researched & found out that it was no “Good Luck Charm” at all! Infact it’s a fertility deity, usually depicted as a “humpbacked” flute player carrying babies on his back for those it ATTACKS During the Night! (It even had “antenna-like” protrusions on his head!)

Thankfully MY Characters are NOTHING Like that. They are a modern, almost funny, fun in the sun kind of thing and are totally removed from such connotations. So you can wear my items knowing that you are NOT calling back to, or calling up, anything but relaxation & a good time; thankfully! =-)!
