This piece of art was originally painted on a miniature canvas, 2"x2", with acrylic paints. Ever since she first saw "The Last Unicorn" (1982) as a young girl, Nicci Lee has been in love with the grace and magic of unicorns. She has since passed this love down to her only daughter who requests many pictures of unicorns on a daily basis. As such, Nicci Lee felt the need to have at least one painting of their favorite white unicorn. When the original was uploaded, Nicci Lee quickly discovered how pretty it would be to include multiple colors for the background so that each girl could have their favorite color paired with the majestic creature. The original was painted in teal, but Nicci Lee has since included pink, purple, red, and a darker blue background.
