This is a high textured acrylic painting done in my own "water painting" style which involves laying down multiple layers of color to achieve the ultimate saturated, deep colors. The technique is very time consuming and often involves both adding and subtracting colors throughout the entire layering process. Patience is a must with this style of painting as effects are often unpredictable; it's taken many years to learn how to control the "water painting" technique to obtain maximum artistic impact.
