This cedar tree embraces the gardens of the villa San Francesco di Paola, in Florence. It's a 300 years old Lebanese cedar. The gardens were originally the site of two religious monasteries. One at the bottom of the hill and the other at the top. An echo of their spiritual vibrancy continues to permeate everything and this tree is like a guardian of the place.
