This was my first attempt at an oil painting I usually only use acrylics it is on a bigger canvas and on the side I painted it a light purple to give the illusion of a picture frame. It looks very beautiful in person, especially if there's some light behind it I text heard the water to where the brighter the light behind it the brighter the painting shines. The water is almost translucent. I was going for a midnight canoe ride under the moonlight.
