Original oil, 12" x 16" on linen. This was painted from a viewpoint along highway 101 north of Florence, Oregon near Berry Creek. The fog had just rolled in , subduing the colors in my composition of shore pines growing among the sand dunes and beach grass. My challenge was to create the atmospheric mood and depth.
