This gourd suffered some tough times in the gourd field and has some scars. Like an old soldier when the uniform and battle ribbons are in place s/he stands tall and proud.

This gourd is embellished with transparent acrylics, wood-burning and the 'ribbons' of the forest - pods, twigs, lichen and wood beads.
