This is a study of a skeleton. The acrylic paint on the bones is highly textured while the rest is mostly comprised of inks. The artwork is a visual representation of how it feels to have joint pain and to hold tension in the body.
This work uses acrylic paints, acrylic inks, and markers on paper.
The dense texture on the bones highly contrast the soft inks in the background and the lack of pigment on the second skeleton (a representation of an average body that does not suffer from this pain)
