This drawing of potted geraniums, is one of my favourites, using the contour drawing technique. It was inspired, as I sat outside drinking my coffee on a warm winter morning, overlooking my garden. The little pot of geraniums sat near my feet, and I felt the urge.

Serious or fun inspired, Maree maintains quality in her work.

Her goal is to create images, that not being traditional, still have a subjective art form, pleasing to the eye.

Colour, is a large part of the finished artwork, which is in line with her psychology of capturing light.

After all, colour is a big part of light!
