This is a painting that I painted for the International women's day. I used Purple and Green for the most of the areas of the painting because these colors symbolize the international women's day. Flower of the international women's day is Mimosa flower, a yellow color flower. So I used yellow color to represent Mimosa flower. I included a detail about stethoscope to honor the memory of Elizabeth Blackwell; The women who graduate from a medical school and becomes the first Doctor in the United States. And detail about the logo of the international women's day; a circle with a a female gender symbol. And also I included detail about hammer and sickle. Because I hope communist ideology made the way for all of this. It took several hours to complete this painting. I named this painting as "Under The Light". Because I believe that the light of education helps women's to achieve their rights.
