As amazing as man made things can be, they only last for so long. We spend a lot of time valuing said things and perhaps even when they fade, they can still be worth looking at. Washed up was inspired by a trail walk in North Tahoe Forest where I return often to check on this abandoned car. If only the car could tell us the story of how it got there? It's ironic that somebody slapped a sticker on it. It might be removed someday, but for now, to me its art.
