Vibrant turquoise and leaf green background sets of a clump of tan, brown and white mushrooms which stretch from the bottom left to the second third of the frame. A darker brown area of the background creates a tree stump that the mushrooms are growing from. At the base of the mushrooms, ombré green wool locks and grey reindeer moss create a lush dimensional base for several mushrooms that protrude from the canvas in 3D form which has been crafted with layers of felted wool.

This painting is from part of the forest at the outskirts of the Estate. Brown Cap mushrooms are common in the area, as are many mushrooms due to the high yearly rainfall.
