I have a close circle of few (remaining) family members and even fewer friends. Those inside that circle of family and friends who have been on prescription medicine for one ailment or another (e.g. mild arythmia, hayfever) are either dead or have survived the stroke and are in a wheel chair. Those who have persevered with the ailments, and have made themselves comfortable with natural, alternative means, are still alive and well. ... I've not been to a quack in years. And the last time I visited one I again came away disgusted - doctors no longer listen to a patient, they cut them short, their only examination is a bored look across a desk, measuring blood pressure, and then WRITING OUT A SCRIPT. If one asks what all the medico-tech jargon means on the piece of bumph, they as much as tell you 'you don't have to know'. ..... Yeah, bullocks ..... why on earth 'don't I have to know'?
