This particular beach, nicknamed "Driftwood Beach," tells a story of the island's tides and trees. Amidst a forest of dead gnarled trees, you can see vestiges of picnic tables and benches that have been overcome by the sea. The tree in this foreground bears someone's initials, possibly carved after the tree fell, but nevertheless it's part of a couple's story.
