this is a painting pf the R Tucker Thompson, a sailing ship which has done charter work in the bay of islands for many years and is very popular amongst tourists and locals alike .here it is painted with Motu Kokako, Piercy island (hole in the rock) in the back ground .The sky i have painted from one of many photos of the sky which i have taken over the years. it is unique as every sky is different and adds to the sense of the power and beauty of nature.
