There was Ynusa, a Groningen bred mare of the classic type, bred in Groningen. Now there are horses of the dominant type that always want to assert themselves, have an exaggerated feeding envy and are loose with their legs. In addition, these horses can be noisy; screaming during mutual conflicts, heavy snoring during the night's rest and audible moaning when fattening. Ynusa was different, very different, much more subdued. It was as if she had entered into a tacit covenant with her boss; in exchange for board and lodging, I serve you with grace and good humor. In the fieldwork, nothing could throw her off balance.
There are horse owners who argue that the biggest burdens are the personalities among the horses, because they pass for achieving results. For me Ynusa was a personality among the horses, because she had great faith in people, you could rely on her and you could work together in a relaxed way.
