A stunning portrait of a tiger in the jungle having a power nap in the sunshine after eating. The picture is made up of 20,000 micro pixels that are 2mm square made from bio-plastic waste from the ethanol industry.

The piece measures approximately 62cm x 20cm and took over 120 hours to complete. I work from initial full size sketches over a light box so I can judge where to place the pixels, which come in nearly 350 different shades.

When you view the picture from close distances you can see the individual pixels, but seen from across a room the true beauty of the piece shines.
