This is an image of the iconic Elephant Hotel in Coney Island, New York. This hotel was a tourist attraction located in Brooklyn. It was built in the shape of an elephant in the late 1800's. The seven story structure stood above Surf Avenue and West 12 Street until 1896 when it was burnt down in a Boardwalk fire. This image pays homage to Coney Island's history.
