Interpretation of a bouquet of flowers. Instead of a vase, there's a magic cauldron with pink hieroglyphs. Instead of flowers, there is an arrangement of undefined beings that exist somewhere between our world and the next. Some of these beings resemble tardigrades (the microscopic water bears). At the center we can find the heart shaped blue butterfly with two streams of blood emanating from it like a fountain, or top left the flying fish that abandons the night sky and jumps into a clear white space populated by seagulls, as if he were hunting. All beings connect through an invisible mycelium. In this painting i attempted to go beyond meaning, but at the same time not to become meaningless. I attempted to draw something neither real nor unreal, to go beyond the syntax of my native language. To intercept thought with beauty and weirdness. To use abstraction without denying representation.
