This is a 9'x12" oil on canvas board painting. It is the second painting I did when I started painting and beauty always inspires me to paint no matter what it is. Bel Ami is retrieving inside to change clothing after she saw her date departing. Perhaps she is going to change her clothes after waiting for someone that did not show up. Then again she might be trying out her dress and went out side to hear comments from the people below.
