Angelo Della Strada is a monochromatic painting in which I have used a grayscale. I have been wanting to create this kind of artwork for a long time. I found this photograph of a street in Venice to be the perfect picture to convert to a grayscale. I would say I was inspired to try this out after watching some old cow boy movies in which the only colors in the frame are shades of a reddish brown. Venice is one such place where each and every street has it's own beauty and uniqueness. The quaint little shops and eateries give this old town a charm of it's own. The water canals and the bridges over them give the place a lovely feel. Visiting Venice had been a dream come true when I got a chance to click some very extraordinary photographs. Venice is very rightly called 'La Serenissima" due to the look of this town which is very peaceful spared from the turmoil effecting so many other cities. Th artwork show a bridge over a canal leading to a street with a couple of eateries and a cat.
