From 'Le Petit Dejeuner' painting by the artist Peter Graham is where I got the inspiration of this artwork. And though it is not part of the project painting from the DIY book by Angela Gair it is one of my favourite painting I rendered. For lessons learned in balancing of colours, weaving compositions and relating the tones, forms and colours. Sticking to the rules accordingly from the book chapter 'Developing the Painting'--- I started from the beginning by thin colour washes to show the broad shapes of the design by constructing the colours slowly. Then affecting from all areas, moving from foreground to background, pacing in such a way to work 'from general to particular'. And that is exactly as per the recommendation of Cezanne "to start with a broom and end with the needle!" Very true and brilliant advice indeed !
