Colour Harmony is second to the last chapter of the DIY book The Oil Painting Course by the author Angela Gair where I got the inspiration of this artwork. In fact it is from 'Green Still Life' painting of Dennis Gilbert. A real example of analogous colour harmony wherein small touches of colours bring harmonious effect, thus I aptly called my own "Green Colour Harmony Test". I honestly admit to myself that when it comes to 'still life' I am not too much of an avid fan, but that changed completely when I started these oil painting projects. Moreover when I had completed one artwork like this by ensuring I had my selected palette of colours. And when I did try painting the whole composition at once after I had chosen and applied the toning colours that surely gave a harmonious effect.
