If you haven't ever experienced a sunset or sunrise in the Valley of the Sun, you just don't know what you are missing. It is something that you can seriously just stare at for hours, and it doesn't matter how long you live here, it is always striking and breath-taking every single day.
It has been the one thing that has brought me those moments, where you draw a deep breath and as you let it out, you just get the biggest smile across your face, no matter what mood I am in. Because of this, I refer to the phoenix sky as my happy space. When i just need a moment, I can either close my eyes, or sneak outside for a moment and see the colors and the world smiling back at me.
