This pen and ink with watercolor was rendered on a small landscape sketchbook. On 16 January 2022 our Carolina mountain home received almost 2 feet of snow. On the second day of the snowy visit, 17 January 2022, I noticed the light making streaks across the snowy landscape. I was enchanted by the contrast of the white lit snow against the blue shadows. I hope you enjoy the drawing with watercolor as much as I did creating it.
