The series of pictures "faces of this word" started in the first days of 2018. It was originally the order for an exhibition in Shanghai, China. The resulted in a series of images that will continue in 2020.
The idea is to represent people in my technique and style ... around this world. Both traditional techniques and computer-based painting steps (e.g. Bamboo) are used. The unique connection ... reduced to a minimum of details .... always on canvas and mostly done with ink. The almost fascinating ink with translucent colors, applied like water colors.
